The Wander the Night series was conceived during the Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020 as a reflection on the beautiful cities of the world that Ellingham was able to explore and photograph up until that point through his DERIVE Project. Created as an escape from home, the images were situated alongside an ambient soundtrack by British composer Simon James French (SJF) at the digital gallery at wanderthenight.com.
