Cody Ellingham photographed the Tokyo Headquarters for HIOS, a Japanese manufacturer of precision power tools and equipment.

The company has its roots in the Asakusa area of Tokyo. Architect Masashi Miyamoto of MMAR led the renovation to the exterior and interior, including an iconic single-piece spiral staircase. Additional photography also captured iconic Arper of Italy chairs and other furniture.

MMAR commissioned Cody Ellingham to photograph the building by night to capture the essence of ‘Old & New Tokyo’.
